Ah, long day of driving the rolla :p
been driving as a "cab" to earn some extra buck.
Now, i got beer on the roof, beer in the floorcarpets, beer in the rear seats, and foot prints in the roof lining.. Driving drunk people is a real hassle.

Got the coilovers on today. I'm not happy about them, cant get it low enough in the front.. Removed the "helping spring" and lowered it until its ok with the wheels i have now..but the shock have maximum 10cm of travel now..This height is waaay to high when i get the BBS rims on. Dunno what to do.. Might try to find a smaller bearing on the top. Does anyone now it that's available?
If not, i will have to get some 16"..
Anyhow.. pics. Also got orange bulbs in the parkinglights. Americano style

Nice.... but American cars have a clear bulb in the corner light!
It does look nice and low, but I guess you will need different coilovers to go lower!

Are there lower coilovers available? what type?
I have TATechnichs now. nice and stiff tough, would be perfect if my plans where 17"
It's some myth that american cars have orange lights all the time, but i have not seen that many when im over there.. Mostly pickups anyways

Well, the American cars require an orange reflector and amber light out the side, but not out the front. So, our rolla just has an orange reflector on the side of the corner light, so the white bulb shines amber only out that side angle, but is white out the front.
I've never heard of those coilovers, but I'm also not sure what the market is like over there!

Your car looks so amazing now that its lowered. I cant wait to see it when you get your rims and tires finished.
Have you tried installing your new headlights and corners yet?

Yeah, offcourse.. I'm useed to lowering VAG cars.. they have the option to lower until the chassie is standing on the tarmarc.. then compared, this is sky high.
i will try with 15", if it looks stupid, then i will opgrade to 16"

A pair of window roller clip removers (forget what they are actually called) would help but you could probably use something similar: Heres a couple pics that might help so u can see what your working with:

Thank you for the pics and tips!
Got the cover off, but bought too small speakers. Soo im going to change them monday.
Atleast i installed the rear speakers and a 6" sub under the passenger seat.
Think im going to be satisfied when i get the right speakers at the front .

Got annoyed because it couldn't get as low as i wanted.. So i sold it...
Was sad, because it was truly a good car! Think i could drive this thing for ever without problems.
So instead of the Rolla, i got a BMW 520i 1990.. 24v engine. Really slow, and doesn't start that good..
Atleast it drifts good when it runs properly, but i can't help to think that my Rolla would just be there for me if i hadn't sold it.
