I've considered it, but I'd prefer aftermarket ones if I were to go down that road. I find having no financial flexibility all of a sudden works wonders for my creativity; thinking of mods to do that doesnt cost anything.
One of my work mates donated me some black tint, put it on the bumper indicators/blinkers and the reverse lights on the tails.
Sanded and clear gloss coated the headlights too!

Recently- on the 5th of February I had attended my first ever car meet!
Hardpark17 was pretty freaking awesome, it was amazing to attend a meet, drive through, have the
honour of being praised by fellow car enthusiasts and just generally having a good time!
Of course I needed to make sure my baby was in top shape for the day. I experimented with car wax a couple weeks prior to see how it went, I don't know if i didn't apply it properly or perhaps it was entirely the wrong kind of wax, but it left nasty white marks all over the car.
I gave it a decent wash with some soap and then followed up with wax and grease remover, then more soap wash, and lathered her all up in silicon and came out amazing! The interior cleaner was a bit meh, and had similar disappointing results as the wax, so silicon to the rescue once again, turned out amazing.
You'll notice a couple upgrades too hehe, on the day one of my good friends redid the wiring for my stereo, amp and sub to make to bring it to it's full potential, unfortunately my headunit wasn't able to fight as hard as I needed it to, so my mate's Mrs did me a tremendous favor by swapping headunits with me!
I also managed to buy these sweet as 17s off my mate for a low price, as the 4th was missing, my odd pairs of rims joined together to make a dysfunctional family of mismatched aesthetics.
Rambling over- enjoy!

More updates woo.
Valentines day present, aftermarket tail lights. Had to change the OEM lamp holders for the aftermarket ones, changed the bulbs to amber and red bulbs for the indicators/ brake light respectively.
On going moisture problems, need to take them off the car for the 4th time to get a permanent fix for the grommet leaks.
Went to the local wreckers again, found a GT wagon, got the spoiler for a mate, bought the roof racks and monsoon guards. had to clean them up quite a bit, resprayed the racks with black and then gloss clear. Repaired the monsoon guards as much as I could, making them look consistent and re-glossed them after a thorough clean.
New Curren seats installed, took as much of the plastic stuff off as possible, cleaned it all thoroughly, washed the seats with fabric softener, heavily watered down detergent and let dry over a few days, luckly we got a lot of sun, so it dried nicely. Resprayed the seat rails and the underside, went over with gloss too.
New grill, I love the iconic Corolla crown instead of the toyota emblem, took my time over the course of a couple weeks sanding down the plastic, scrubbing back the chrome with tin foil (aluminium foil) to clean it up, masked it while watching movies in the background which took a while with masking tape and scalpel, sprayed with black and gloss, took the masking off.
Hated how the 17s looked with the 14s, so i sold the 17s. Swapped my steelies tyres onto the Enkei Rp01 14"s, cleaned the steelies, sanded, flap sanded the edges for a nice polished look on the edge. I prefer this than using chrome lips which would visually contract the space around it, making it look smaller than it already looks, also makes it rugged! Masked the edge and pressure valve ends, rubbed down with wax & grease remover, sprayed with self etching primer cause some of my sanding took it to bare metal, then rustoleum matt black paint+primer 2 in 1 for the base coat, then gloss clear.
I feel adding matt black, then gloss clear gives a much nicer shine than gloss black.
Enjoy!
