Hey ae101 fans,
Bought an ae101 a few weeks ago, she was stock and in fairly clean condition.
Since then I have installed:
Sony head unit, replaced the factory speakers and installed a 12" sub.
TRD shift knob
A roof mounted Air Purifier and under seat tray from "Argew24"
K&N Air filter
I also put in a new oil filter, new oil, new radiator fluid, new fuel filter
Yesterday I put a deposit on me new licence plate ...
Looking for hints and tips on mods
Rollin'

Wow ur on to it thought I only new there were 2 sizes for Tweeters gotta have a look I think the sedans were 2nd gen the smokes may fit but you need the headlights too I think and there were different fittings for oil cap even I get things wrong
Will total and wrap parts have to get the bracket you serious enough to cut lining and tack weld bracket then attach the light/glass holder?

Sorry I got it totally wrong, I thought the larger ones were 2nd gen.
The indicators I bought were the ones in the bumper, its a bugger because thery are pretty nice, not very "smoke" though, maybe I should haave got the green smoke instead?

Makes me wonder if the other ones that I have my eye on, that are the total headlight and corner light replacement will fit my rolla?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1993-1997-Toyota-Corolla-Led-Halo-Projector-Headlights-Glossy-Black-H1-HID-Kit-/301240775492?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1994|Make%3AToyota|Model%3ACorolla&hash=item4623597344&vxp=mtr
Having trouble finding nice upgrades for the oil, fuel and radiator caps...
On second thoughts that sunglasses holder sounds way to much for me, thanks for the heads up, so no I wont buy that.
Althought I'm sure I can do the Keylight myself.

I think those are for a different bumper and don't even look like smokie more clear send them back
There is a bumper section on here with pics standard can't recall indicators for FXGT
Glad you change your mind on Sunglass holder try to find the one that hooks up to the mirror extremely hard to get seen pics up to 2004 corollas with them

Hello and Welcome, sorry for being late.
The indicators you bought of ebay will be for either the USDM bumper for the non FX bumper, both of which are different to the FX

nice ride, always loved the hatchbacks. I was surprised Toyota didn't sell them here with the popularity of the civic hatch being pretty strong. But yours is very nice.

Hi mindbeats, the original spare wheel must have been a space saver, now there is a full size spare and the original floor is gone, and even if the floor was there it would not sit flat / flush. I think that is the reason why the floor is gone. So I have a temp setup with the wood and a 12" sub strapped down to the spare wheel. At some point I would like to go back to a space saver, buy an original floor and go with 2x subs. It looks a little shabby right now, but it sounds good and is all hidden in the boot (trunk). =)

UPDATE 24/01/15
TRD Radiator cap, seems legit, but with so many fakes its hard to know...
New OEM Toyota Key cut
Alarm installed, upgraded to the Mongoose M80G, with 3 immobilisers, glass break & impact sensor, and battery backup siren.
Installed a dash dimmer switch, but after a bit of poking around I couldn't find the plug.
I searched google and the best result sent me back here, and one member said to look for a matching plug with a small wire connected to join the wiring loop.
So I think I will buy a new "colour" dash light bulbs and during the install have a better look for the plug, or wire it up it to make it work.
The 3 colours I want on the car are, the factory grey/green, black and red. I am not sure witch colour to go for yet, it's between red and green.
Items I will purchase soon....
OEM Twetter pods
OEM rear seat speaker panels
Component speakers and a set of 6x9's
Tom's Super Ram 2
HKS Filter
Tein Bonnet Dampers
Greddy Cooling plate
Items I really want, so I'm saving and searching .....
TRD 3 point strut tower bar
ARC Air Box
Tom's Carbon Intake Plenum
17x8 Rota Grids
