it broke down , tok some time and the engine was forgoten in ather projects, then i took the engine , rebuld it and used it in a Carina E ( caldina in Japan ) , then the wiering fucked up and i took that car in peces and wreckd it . now i have a ae 92 2 door cupe ( sr5 from Canada ) that the goverment her in Norway fucked up the papers on . so the papers on my sr5 are good to go with 122kw ( 165 HP) and it has the lame 4afe with auto. gearbox , so that is my big rebuild now sitll got 2 20v in part in the worc shop but i look at the ae101 as a "shine" car ( at least this on ) mor then a race car ( to mutch led , fiberglas and paint on it to call it light any more ) so its more a show and shine then hard racing

It is OK for the car to sit, as long as it always lives on! It inspired MY Corolla back in the day. Glad to see it's still the same beauty it always was, just gotta clean it up and get it running again.

i know he chop it up and sold it in parts , but we was building our cars at the same time and changed experians and tips on Cardomain.com long befor i got in to any corolla sites .
i was building FWD corolla on the toyotaforum her in Norway , everyone else was in to Celica ,supra and MR2 . with that in mind, my rolla was the most visited project car on that site , work log on the car is abute 45 pages with pics and coments . it is a test ,fail , learn , do it right project. when i see ather ae101 cars thees day`s i see that the " fast and furious" era is finished long ago and custom making body kits interior and ather parts ain`t that BIG any more so in ather words, i have a out dated look on my car that don`t fit in with the less is more \ all oem and low people
but still i have this ride in the shop , it still gives me goos bump every time i sit in the driverset , smelling it , filling it , memoris and al the work that i have done with it , with alot of frends help ! it was done in a time with no kids ,dogs, house , half the time wife and worrys abute anything els but what is the next thing i want to do with this ride to make it go faster ,look better than all the Audi -VW- BMW and Volvo shit that everybody wanted in my town . this is my " FUCK YOU " to everyone , I do my own thing and i love it

^^^ Love it lol. Yeah I'd get a "bump" by sitting in mine when it was sitting in the back yard, good feelings. I think your Corolla still works with today's "fashion" and styling just fine! The only thing you'd have to do to "fit in" with today is maybe different wheels that sit more flush. But the body still looks good.
